You may notice there are a LOT of shares in this experience! We met, on an absolutely gorgeous late summer evening, and after we wandered, shot in a slew of different environments, we played. I already knew that Jackson rode a long board for fun, and I couldn’t WAIT to get my camera on him in that fading summer light! His session was ridiculously enjoyable, and what we walked away with, priceless!!
We set out to find a location close to home, and stumbled across this meca of greatness! Playing in the water, finding beautiful wildflowers and enjoying an overcast cool day was the perfect mix. This free spirited, fun loving girl came alive when in her senior session and showed the world what she is made of!
This little guy slept the entire session. I saw his eyes one time in an hour and lucky for me, I got the shot! The best thing is, sleeping babies are incredible!!!
The experience at Eldorado Springs is absolutely stunning! The variety of colors, textures and varied scenery allowed us to wander and make a zillion pit stops just taking in the variety for this senior portrait session.
Kara and Family
We met on an evening when the chill was still in the air, but the sun was still warm enough for no coats! This beautiful family of 5, almost to be 6, had fun being silly, lovin on mom and baby brother to come, and checking out the cool rocks and trees that we hung around on! We worked fast that evening with the setting sun!
We spent a lot of time together this day, getting to his off the grid favorite location! Hiking, climbing over boulders, squeezing between trees or narrow rock formations were all in the cards today and the payoff…magnificent! For this adventure enthusiast, we were able to capture the real deal here, and see him in his element living his real life happy place. I could not have been more excited to be a part of this!
Drew and Zoey
I power hiked to St. Mary’s Glacier to catch the surprise proposal. Her goal, a hike on a chilly winter’s day to her favorite spot. His goal, to give her a day she would never forget. I think he succeeded! This proposal turned adventure session was a most incredible experience, even with the bone chilling winds!!
This natural beauty with a head full of gorgeous strawberry blond locks was captivating in front of the camera. You would never know she is a shy soul. Her eyes spoke to me, and getting the chance to see this beautiful young lady emerge more and more with every shot was inspiring and rewarding! This girl is going places, no doubts.
Savannah was 2 and was on the move! The lure of the geese, the water and the flowers were fantastic and it was such fun to see those little eyes so excited by her surroundings! Photographing her in an heirloom dress that was multiple generations old was so special
Newborns, so tiny, soft and yummy smelling. I love their funny looks that come around, their sleepy nature and their perfect skin! Making memories of this fleeting moment in time, where they can double their size in the matter of a month, is one of my favorite things!
I had to give very little direction to this stunning young lady! She was a natural and we had so much fun finding cool spots, doing silly things and letting her true light shine! She makes me smile!
Meeting this gorgeous red head on the trails above Boulder made for some fantastic images! During a hike after a photo shoot, and I got the chance to make some more magic spontaneously.
Josh, we had a speedy session that brought some beautiful images that really tugged at my heart. Not everyone wants to spend hours together, but capturing heart doesn’t take forever!
Mixing things up and hitting the streets in addition to the beauty of mother nature! Madi could slay them both, no problems! The feel of shooting in an urban environment is so different, but so cool at the same time!
Yep, I know she’s mine, but I’m sharing anyway! We have a lot of fun shooting together! This session was done in about 30 minutes one Sunday morning before I took her to breakfast to catch up on life! The funny thing is, I don’t like to be rushed on sessions and I’m used to shooting for a minimum of an hour. I feel like my creativity builds and unfolds as we experience our location and explore. I left this short session feeling less that successful…until I uploaded my card to the computer. I fell in love with every image.
I had the fortune to spend time with Joey, is father and little sister during our session of adventure! We hiked, we found beauty and Joey even dipped into the bone chilling creek at the end…just for fun. Being with kids and families that are so comfortable together, and relaxed overall, are so much fun to work with as they typically are up for anything! This allows my creativity to unfold as we get to know each other better and make magic happen!!
When I saw Cody get out of his car in a full tux, I knew this was going to be a fun session! We were shooting in a beautiful Colorado park, and the juxtaposition of the attire and the setting were fantastic! Casual, dressy and a bit of personality played through beautifully in Cody’s session!
This striking young lady has determination and spirit and was such a joy to work with, capturing her beauty. It doesn’t go skin deep with Kayla, and you can tell she has what it takes to manifest only the best in her life!
"I met Suzanne first when she took my family pictures, and I knew she’d be the perfect fit for my senior pictures. The whole shoot was comfortable and fun, and we got so many amazing shots that I wouldn’t have even thought to ask for. I highly recommend if you want a talented photographer who cares about what you want out of your pictures!" Caroline Heyder
"I used Suzanne for my senior pictures (graduating spring of 2019). She made the whole day so much fun. I’m not one to really enjoy a ton of attention but she really helped me get more comfortable in front of the camera throughout our session!" Madi Pixler
"The passion for the outdoors and the adventure of something new is why we not only love Suzanne's photography but all that she does in her day to day life! We are so thankful that she captured the very beginning of the best adventure we get to experience together, even in the elements of a cold, windy, and sunny day! Suzanne made it SO fun to shoot the joyful moments after the big "yes" which made our special day a dream!” Zoey Frazier
"Like many, I'm sure, I dread getting my photo taken. and was not looking forward to meeting with Suzanne. She made the whole process quick and easy as it possibly could have been though. By the end I think I may have been smiling because I was having fun and not just because she was telling me to!" Isaac Mead
“After our very first session with Suzanne, we have never thought of using anyone else to capture our outdoor memories! Her flexibility in locations, her pricing plan, and the huge variety of quality shots ("never too many") that she delivers are a few key reasons we love her approach! She will be photographing my youngest baby this year, as a senior in high school! I am so happy we caught all our memories, along the way, with Suzanne!" Trish Rogers
"Suzanne is amazing. She was able to capture our love and memorialize it forever on film. We couldn't be happier with how our engagement pictures came out. Prior to our shoot, we hoped to have one picture to use for our Save the Dates, instead we had to use three, because we couldn't narrow it down She made not only myself, but most importantly my fiance who is a bit more camera shy very comfortable and had us laughing the entire time. I cannot recommend Suzanne enough, she will not disappoint!” Rachel Lowe
"Our family has gone to Suzanne twice in one year and will forever be a customer. She made our family the priority and knew exactly how to capture the most precious and remembering moments. Suzanne is not only the most amazing photographer, but an amazing person all the way through. Thanks for everything Suzanne, you are the best! Joey Grooms
